The Internet is ever evolving and the latest evolution is going to be huge for the savvy Network Marketer who recognizes the shift in how people now connect via the internet.
The popularity of social networking sites is growing in leaps and bounds. Where as in years past the average person would first turn to search engines for information they needed, this is no longer the case. They now turn to a multitude of social networking sites. On these sites they can find the information they are looking for and interact with other people at the same time.
These networks are being used successfully by people from many different areas of our society. Doctors, lawyers, restaurant owners, specialty store owners and musicians are just a few. These networks are no longer reserved for teenagers and young adults. If you explore any of these sites you can see for yourself. The people that land on your profile are there for a reason. They are looking for what you have to offer. If they identify with and like your profile (which can and should include audio, pictures, text and video… in various combinations), you will soon be contacted via email or phone.
Become the hunted instead of the “hunt-ee”.
If you have bugged your family and friends in the past and do not wish to do so anymore, then social networking is the way to go. Calling stranger after stranger and being hung up on or spoken rudely to are not favorite past times for most people either. Using social marketing will make these a thing of the past. In the end not everybody will be a fit for what you have to offer, but the interactions you have with people will be quite different. The process of building your business will no longer seem like a chore and your downline will start to grow because of the different type of interactions they will be experiencing when they follow the techniques you teach them as their leader.
The old methods of building a network marketing business worked at one point in time. The problem is, these old methods are not very effective and they scare people. Nobody wants to chase down strangers, hand out fliers or coordinate opportunity meetings. Taking advantage of attraction marketing methods with social networking sites on the internet allows people to stay in their comfort zone. The fear of stepping outside that comfort zone is what keeps a lot of newcomers from succeeding.
If you really want to create residual income you need to have a product that many consumers are willing to buy and have methods in place to continually find new customers. These methods should be easy to follow and duplicate as well as honest and trustworthy. When your downline trusts you and believes in you because they see the methods working and they feel comfortable with the methods, your residual income will continue to grow.
It’s time to change your networking activities!
Success in your network marketing business will begin to manifest once you become involved with Social Marketing and start having prospects hunting you down. The next couple of years will offer valuable benefits to the home business owners who start using Web 2.0 techniques.
Why Doesn’t Internet Marketing Work For Me?
by Joseph Munzer on April 16, 2008
in Affiliate Marketing
With all of the positives internet marketing has to offer, there are some negatives to deal with as well. Most of the time internet marketers will be working alone and many for many people this can be an issue. Internet marketers are also constantly presented with new products and systems. With that being the case, it is very easy to consider changing from one to another on an all too frequent basis. Success in internet marketing can depend on how these negatives are handled.
Discipline Must Be A High Priority
Working from home is really quite different than the typical 9 to 5. It requires a discipline that can be difficult to maintain. It’s all too easy to neglect your morning tasks because there was a re-broadcast of the golf tournament you missed on TV yesterday. In the beginning stages you will need to make this a full time endeavor so don’t make up excuses. Get to the home office, shut the door and get some work done. Keep a consistent schedule and start receiving some checks!
Working at home can get lonely. Again remain disciplined and always maintain a good deal of control of your time. Time is money and the time you set aside for work must remain productive. As internet marketers, one thing we like to do is sign up on lists. It’s just in our blood. We are always looking for things to assist us in our journey. That’s fine, but just make sure to only sign up on lists that are relevant to what we do. Spending hours sifting through emails will not produce checks.
I myself, will not sign up for any more than 5 lists. There is just too much information out there and most of it is not all that useful. If something of top importance comes up, I am sure I will hear of it. Again, sifting through 25 emails will not benefit me or my business.
New products and systems are released every day and they are all “Must Haves!!” for your success. Please don’t get into a panic to purchase everything that comes your way. You will find that most of what is being pushed on you is “the same old stuff” and unless you can see a GENUINE benefit to your business then resist the temptation and hold onto your money.
Every now and again a new product or service will come around that will actually provide a genuine benefit to you and increase your productivity, If that is the case, then investigate further and if there are no red flags, make the purchase. Any investment that increases productivity is a wise one.
Make sure your decision is not based on the testimonials alone. If possible, make sure the testimonials are from actual purchasers of the product and not other sellers of the product.
Maintain Your Focus
If you want to keep your focus, a proper business plan is essential. Make sure devote some time to the development of a sound business plan and then stick to it. Make whatever effort you can to keep all distractions at bay.
It will normally take some time for positive results to make themselves known. Make sure you give your well thought out plan a fair amount of time. Becoming bored with the day to day tasks is not a justifiable reason to change your plan.
There are some things you can do to avoid becoming bored with some of the routine daily procedures you will be performing. Make sure you change the order of procedures around every so often. Make up a new schedule so you change the order of tasks around. Everybody needs some variety. Also try networking with other home business owners every now an again. Sometimes the best advice is free.
Maintaining a focus on a single well thought out plan will yield greater results than jumping from one to the next. Your income at the end of the year will be much less if you were to continue jumping from one plan to another.
Wealth Funnel System And The Reverse Funnel System Comparison

You are reading this article for a reason. You are investigating options in making money from home and are trying to choose one of many systems to become involved with.
In this article I am going to compare The Wealth Funnel System and The Reverse Funnel System and hopefully provide you with a solid base of information to help with your decision.
Up front cost and monthly fees are often the first area people seek information on. With regards to The Wealth Funnel System, the numbers are as follows: Initial Cost of $997 and Monthly Hosting Fee of $49.95. The hosting fee pays for the website and the back office you receive. With regards to The Reverse Funnel System, these are the numbers: Initial Cost of $50 just to receive basic information and $2995 to join and a Monthly Hosting Fee of $300.
The next area of interest for people inquiring about these opportunities has to do with support and education. What does each system provide for you in these two areas? The base of The Wealth Funnel System is the education it provides its members. There are hours and hours of videos explaining how to put the system in motion and develop the skills necessary to market effectively. The areas of free advertising and paid for advertising are covered in detail. There is also telephone support to assist you and your prospects with any questions that arise. A technical support area is also provided. The Reverse Funnel System has no support structure of any kind in place and suggests that you have a minimum of an additional $3000 set aside for advertising.
Now let’s have a closer look at the people behind each of these systems:
The Wealth Funnel System was founded by Derrick Harper (not the ex-NY Knick). Derrick has 12 years of internet marketing experience under his belt. Many of which were for various Fortune 500 companies.
The developer of The Reverse Funnel System is Ty Coughlin. According to his website, he was a construction worker less than a year ago and is now currently living the good life all because of The Reverse Funnel System. If you do some research you find out this is not the case at all. He earned significant income from another system a couple of years ago.
As you can see, although the names of the two systems sound similar, that is where the similarities end. I hope this article provided you with the information you need to make an informed decision with regards to which home business you might join.
