<p>Are you constantly searching for the &#8220;Holy Grail&#8221; of <a href="http://www.chrisstigson.com"  class="alinks_links" onclick="return alinks_click(this);" title=""  rel="external">Internet Marketing</a>? Instead of falling prey to every new &#8220;shiny object&#8221; the comes out, you need to actually do something!</p>
<p>Of course there are great techniques out there that you could be using.  I&#8217;m sure there are great products out there to teach you how to market better.  Never stop learning.  The instant you stop learning, you start to stagnate.</p>
<p>Top experts even disagree with each other with exactly how you should market online.  However, remember there&#8217;s only one true judge, results!</p>
<p>You need to test everything you put into practice, otherwise, you&#8217;ll never know what works.</p>
<p>Successful Internet marketers will agree that there is one, and only one, &#8220;secret&#8221; to Internet marketing.</p>
<p>If you don&#8217;t take any action, you won&#8217;t get any results!</p>
<p>To be a success in Internet marketing, you&#8217;ve got to do something.  If you sit on the sidelines and just watch and learn, you&#8217;ll never make a dime.</p>
<p>Take action, even if your results are poor.</p>
<p>Internet marketing requires lots of &#8220;practice&#8221;.</p>
<p>If you want to become a better copywriter, learn and study, but then take massive action and start testing what you&#8217;ve learned against your existing sales letters.</p>
<p>A simple fact that almost no one seems to mention is that even some of the most successful companies in the world only expect one out of seven products they create to be a success.</p>
<p>Claude Hopkins, considered by many to be one of the greatest marketing minds ever, recorded this in &#8220;Scientific Advertising:&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;There are many surprises in advertising. A project you will laugh at may make a great success. A project you are sure of may fall down. All because tastes differ so. None of us know enough peoples desires to get an average viewpoint.&#8221;</p>
<p>The first website you create might not be a success, or profitable.  If you&#8217;re smart, and stay in the game, in contact with the right people you will learn something from it.  The next website venture may be the success that you&#8217;ve been hoping for.</p>
<p>The reason your current site isn&#8217;t making any money, could be the wrong product or the wrong market.  If you can&#8217;t explain to me in one sentence who your target market is, then you&#8217;re not ready for success.</p>
<p>Test some different products. Test some different advertising methods. Test some different ads. Only testing can tell you what will or will not work online or offline.</p>
<p>The trick is to keep your testing small.  Started PPC campaign, test an ezine ad or two, run some banner ads.</p>
<p>Set aside a small budget of say $100-$500 every month just for testing.</p>
<p>Never spend any money on advertising where it will put you out of business. It should be as small and risk-free as possible at all times.</p>
<p>If you really have no money to spend on advertising this, start with free traffic techniques.</p>
<p>There&#8217;s dozens of them that you can use.  If you are using free techniques, never spend more time than you can afford to lose.</p>
<p>Time is money and as you become more and more successful in this business, it is the time that you run out of first.</p>
<p>The Secret to Internet marketing is to &#8220;Do Something.&#8221;</p>
<p>Even if everything doesn&#8217;t go to plan, adapt and try something else.</p>
<p>The second secret of Internet marketing is similar to the first.  It&#8217;s &#8220;Don&#8217;t give up!&#8221;</p>

<p>How can you build wealth by using <a href="http://www.affiliatemarketingebookreviews.com"  class="alinks_links" onclick="return alinks_click(this);" title=""  rel="external">affiliate marketing</a> and pay per click?  You do that by not just sending the traffic on to your affiliates to get the commission but by building your own assets at the same time.</p>
<p>As you buy clicks on Google, offer those people something of your very own first, something of genuine value that nobody else can replicate. Collect contact information from as many of those visitors as you possibly can, then send them on.</p>
<p>By tradition, if you can make a tradition in 5-6 years, affiliates will display banner ads or other links, purchase pay per click and other traffic, then send the traffic directly on to their affiliate hoping that this will produce a sale and therefore a commission.</p>
<p>These are what we call &#8216;bitslingers&#8221;.  The purchase traffic and take the money from the affiliate but don&#8217;t do anything else.  They don&#8217;t improve the quality of the internet mixture.  They just broker clicks and that is it.  Don&#8217;t want to be just a bitslinger? Create something of use a list of clients that you can interact with over and over again.</p>
<p>What offering of value can you list?  He are some ideas that I have gathered:</p>
<p>Proffer an informative tutorial.</p>
<p>Offer a webinar on a subject that is compatible with, and flows to the affiliate product/service that you are touting.</p>
<p>Set up your own site that provides a multiday e-mail course about your topic, and promote your affiliate program that way.</p>
<p>Make available at no cost a guide or reference &#8216;paper&#8217; on the subject.</p>
<p>When you are affiliated with more than one similar product, produce a compare and contrast analysis on the products or services cost and quality then let your customer choose.</p>
<p>Make an MP3 recording on your topic.</p>
<p>Sponsor a contest.</p>
<p>Provide a free software download.</p>
<p>Most importantly, don&#8217;t tell your customers, &#8220;Hey, go use my product.&#8221; Don&#8217;t push it like banshees. First teach them something of value that will help them improve their own sales process.</p>
<p>In days gone by all you had to do was buy clicks from Google and herd them through your links to your affiliate hosts site.  These hosts love it especially when they have nearly all of the advertisements on the page pointing to them.</p>
<p>Problem is that Google didn&#8217;t think that was so great.  These strong-arm arrangements messed up the process of Adwords and thus Google took a hit to their image.  Thus came the Google revolution at the beginning of 2005. The rule now stands that one ad display url is allowed per page of Adwords listings per advertiser.</p>
<p>What this does mean though is that your affiliates can be on that same page of Google results.  It also means that you aren&#8217;t allowed to push traffic directly to your affiliate host&#8217;s website.</p>
<p>So your affiliates-or you yourself, if you&#8217;re an affiliate for another host-need to come up with real, original content on the landing page, if you want to survive. When you do this, everybody wins. You add value to the market, and those visitors who sign in become an asset for you.</p>
