You will send messages to people who have subscribed to your list. When you are sending them, you should remember that you have to include plain text, as well as HTML versions. This is due to the fact that some email clients will not accept HTML.

Autoresponder is another must in your email marketing campaigns. You will save plenty of time if you use an autoresponder. Without it, you will need to send the messages one by one. There are a lot of autoresponder services which just charge very low fee out there.

Nowadays, a lot of people will install a spam filter of some kind. Even the ISPs will have their own spam filters. As a result, you have to check if your message will be blocked. It is very important to make sure that your messages will not be blocked otherwise you will be just wasting your effort.

You should give some useful information to your subscribers otherwise they will lose the interest to read your messages receiving them for a few times. You can write something related to the products you are promoting. You may also try to write some how-to’s in your message.

You should add your signature file at the end of each message you send. You will miss the point of send messages to your subscribers if you do not include your signature.

Concerning your signature file, it is suggested that it should not be more that five lines. Be sure to include your name, email, company name and URL in it.

You should also remember to include your real name, as well as your physical address in the email. These are required by Law. You should also put a link at the end of each email so that people who receive the emails can have an option to unsubscribe.
